Fellow anglers,
I just wanted to pass on some good experience I had with the Fortress Anchor company. First off I love their anchors and they grab hold and keep the boat steady. They are a bit pricey but now I know they also stand behind their product.
The anchors are assemblies of solid aluminum which come in a box and are easily put together. I have never had a problem of getting the anchor to set which is so very important when you are trying to position over that wreck or nice piece of live bottom. In fact, my last trip the anchor set a little too well and int he process of getting the boat off the fluke bent just a bit and amazingly it doesnt set near as well. So, I just submitted a request for a new fluke via
www.fortressanchors.com . Not more than 5 minutes later I received an email response letting me know that the part will go out tomorrow as long as I call back to handle the shipping and handling charge of $9.35.
I should get it in a couple of days, and will be back in business with my anchor good as new!
Good service.. and painless for the customer makes a loyal customer. Im passing on the word..
