HHISFC vs. Beaufort Fishing & Diving Club Year Long Tournament

Hilton Head Island Sportfishing Club is hosting a year long tournament against the Beaufort Fishing and Diving Club. The tournament is open to everyone and contains many popular species.

Betsy Ross Reef Initially started in 1978 with a 440 foot liberty ship.  The liberty ship is the bulk of the reef material but is accompanied by subway cars,and bridge sections.  The depth near the reef is around 85 feet. 32 03.2'N

Fish America Reef      
Fripp Island Reef Fripp Island Reef, constructed 1968, is roughly 1500' x 1300' consisting of more than 50,000 tires, culvert, and scrap steel.  Depths range from 30-38 feet. Reef locators consist of 1 yellow nun buoy and one small can bouy. 32 15.5'N 80 22.5'W

Hilton Head Tire Reef Started in 1977 the reef spans an 1800' x 1800' section on the ocean floor at a depth of roughly 50'.  31 59.7'N 80 35.7W
